new sound coming

I’ve been working on my dream team for a few weeks and am excited that it is really coming together, so wanted to send a shout out about the new band. It’s still forming, and we’ll yet to land on a Boulder upright bassist, but the rest is set up to shine!

The band will feature cello, trumpet, trombone, drums, bass, and of course voice. I’m moving towards a more open sound, so forgoing the usual harmonic contribution – no piano or guitar. I am really looking forward to how the sound shapes up and the players who have joined the project include some stellar creative minds so will have a strong collaborative bend, I think.

I’ll keep you posted as things develop and let you know when we have a new slew of gigs… xo Heather
